Fetsi Matric Ignite :Career-day Exhibition
2322, Angola And Kenya, Cosmo City, Randburg, Johannesburg.
This event is created to help Grade 12 learners take the next big step toward their future. This year’s exhibition focused on supporting learners with university and TVET college applications, NSFAS and bursary applications, bank account opening guidance, career advice and mentorship, as well as workshops on post-school pathways. Attendees received hands-on support to complete their applications, learned how to open and manage a student bank account, met exhibitors and partners offering opportunities and resources, and benefited from guidance provided by experienced mentors and volunteers. The exhibition inspired learners to dream bigger and plan ahead, while also welcoming parents, guardians, teachers, community leaders and youth development stakeholders from across Gauteng.

FETSI Matric Ignite is a programme designed to inspire and equip Grade 12 learners with essential data literacy skills. Through motivational talks, it boosts confidence and ignites ambition to pursue careers in technology. Learners take part in data literacy workshops introducing key concepts such as data analysis, visualisation and digital tools, while also gaining career awareness by being exposed to data-related professions and pathways. The overall impact goal is to prepare high school learners to be future-ready by making data literacy an essential skill for the modern world.
